Over the course of the last year, we have been sourcing a suitable location in Hornsea to site a new sculpture, part of the Coastal Sculpture Collection.

The design of the sculpture has been inspired by the rich Hornsea Pottery History, and now a location off the Promenade in Hornsea has been confirmed, and we are ready to officially commission the piece.

Here is the inspiration piece:

The sculpture is intricate and will be in two parts. The first will be a woven wave which will stand proud at 2.5 high, and the second, a fish which will be located in front so people are able to pass through the two pieces – but together, they will provide the perfect photo opportunity.

We are also committing to landscaping the area, so if you have any local recommendations for great local landscapers, please contact us at bidteam@yorkshirecoastbid.com

As this is a large piece, we anticipate that the installation and groundwork will commence pre-Summer and we shall updates as this progresses.
