The team behind the successful Scarborough Restaurant Week has now developed a brand new eco food and drink festival for Scarborough, celebrating local food, drink and music all with a sustainable attitude.

The detail:

  • The festival will take place on 12th – 14th May 2023 and will provide opportunities for local producers and retailers to showcase their produce
  • The event will also provide a platform for local bands and musicians, alongside local bars and pubs which allow for live music
  • Located at the Scarborough Spa, it is perfectly situated for people to visit who are staying in local guest houses and hotels and attract them to the South Beach
  • A key focus on sustainability will run through the event including the use of environmentally friendly packaging, low food miles with local businesses and stands where visitors can engage in educational activities about how we can protect our area

BUSINESSES

Food and drink businesses are invited to have a pitch at the event and there will be opportunities to promote the local bars and pubs which allow for live music. As the festival spans a weekend this could also attract overnight stays.

COMMUNITY

This a new opportunity for the community to engage in the festival, experience local food and drinks and learn more about sustainability plus join the additional activities like beach cleans.
