What is the Withernsea Christmas project?
Working with Withernsea Town Council, we will be funding the installation of additional equipment to provide a new Christmas Lighting display in Valley Gardens, Withernsea. The installation will provide new infrastructure by fitting high-level sockets and new figurines to the lamp posts that will make it possible for other lighting displays throughout the year.
The installations will also complement the ‘Christmas in the Valley ‘ event planned for 3rd December 2022.

- New high level lighting infrastructure to serve for year-round events that will also illuminate the stage

- Lighting installation will be ready for the ‘Christmas in the Valley’ event on 3rd December 2022 and continue to run until January

- An anticipated footfall of 1,000 over the Christmas period
- Encouraging locals and visitors into Withernsea out of season
- Providing opportunities for additional lighting events throughout the year
- Adding lighting to the stage area of Valley Gardens will open up new interest for the venue
