This year we supported JPC Specialist Motorsports to enable them to bring their fantastic event to the Yorkshire Coast.
In September we saw the event come to Bridlington, taking over the promenade by Bridlington Spa and the RNLI and it was fantastic to see the Land Train lead the parade providing people from the Hinge a special opportunity to be involved.
In October, the event returned to Whitby for its second year, drawing even bigger crowds which was fantastic to see.
Both of the events drew 1,000s of people on the day and we spoke with many of the people who attended who had travelled up to 3 hours away with many, including the crew staying overnight.
These events are not only great at drawing people from further afield, but they are created as a way to help raise vital funds for the JPC Community Farm, by offering passenger dream experiences, world-class car events and unforgettable automotive experiences. All profits generated by JPC Specialist Motorsport from its events and other activities are donated to their charity to further support their work for those with special and complex needs, including learning, physical and sensory disabilities.
We will endeavour to support events that not only drive footfall, but also give back to the community, via green initiatives, or to charity to extend the benefits.
