A new team of ambassadors have been recruited to provide Whitby, Scarborough and Filey with a welcoming face to people visiting the Yorkshire coast this summer.
Every weekend and seven days a week during school holidays the team of 11 ambassadors will be greeting visitors, provide them with information, signpost them to key landmarks and attractions, and help them to have a safe and enjoyable visit.
The ambassadors will also undertake visitor research and report back any problems they may come across to provide us with an opportunity to look at what additional support areas may require.
The Welcome Ambassadors are the perfect addition to enhance a visitors experience when they visit the Yorkshire Coast! With so much on offer in Whitby, Scarborough and Filey, we look forward to visitors having access to personalised information to help guide and direct them to have an amazing experience that encourages them to keep returning for many a year to come.
