March 2022 saw the soft launch of Scarborough Restaurant Week, where diners across the area could download exciting offers from participating cafes and restaurants to be redeemed only during that week. It gave businesses an opportunity to encourage footfall in the low season and entice diners into visiting at quieter times of the day, maximise spend per head or market themselves for a particular cuisine or dish.
The response was brilliant, over 1000 diners signed up to the website, 1599 vouchers were downloaded and 25 amazing Cafes and Restaurants took part.
The event will take place again from 7th-13th November 2022 and promises to be bigger and better. The team are keen to hear your valued feedback on how they can develop the event going forward, you can complete the short survey for businesses taking part and also your experience as a diner, too and help shape what will be an important week for hospitality in Scarborough.
