2022 saw the wonderful world of Grue return for a second year and we were proud to support it again. Created by Wintercroft and supported by Arcade, this amazing world was built by the community of Scarborough and saw 454 voluntary builders use cardboard and paper to build an immersive experience for families to discover the world of Grue.
Exploring the labryinth of rooms and windows, each with engaging ways to view the images and lights, all which were entwined with the very heart of this project, of how the world of Grue had become clogged with rubbish, similar to our own and what we can do to help.
The World of Grue took over 1,600 hours to create and was built over 16 days. A total of 1297 tickets where sold on the basis of affordability, meaning every family was given the chance to discover the magical world of Grue.
