The Odyssey is an Epic Adventure on the Yorkshire Coast. Inspired by Homer’s classic tales of the Trojan Wars and the hero Odysseus’ incredible adventure trying to return to his beloved homeland. Set across over 100 miles of Yorkshire’s dramatic coastline and surrounding areas.
Watch a large-screen showing of the story so far of ‘The Odyssey’ created by and featuring community members from the length of the Yorkshire Coast. Also featuring video shorts of our stunning coastline with music from local composers.
Then get involved in the storytelling action yourself as you interact with the costume, props, and set used in the creation of the film. Your chance to be the star of the show in the specially dedicated ‘selfie’ area.
Take home your own souvenir of the story with art activities for all the family.
Also, get an exclusive preview of the giant scale outdoor events that will be coming to the coast in the spring and summer, including the enormous Trojan horse!
