In 2021 we saw the Soapbox challenge come to the Yorkshire Coast and see Filey be its first event town.
This year, we are taking the event into the heart of Bridlington, so carts will be seen going down South Marine Drive before turning onto the promenade just before Brid Spa.
Events like these are geared up to be big footfall drivers for people who want to cheer on the participants and are structured to give people time to watch the soapboxes run the race, break for lunch, and let people see the soapboxes when they are out of action.
It will be starting near the South Marine Drive, travelling down the road, before turning onto the promenade, by Richies Cafe Bar.
This is a fantastic family event and one for people of all ages who want to see some creative time trials take place.
