Thanks to further funding from Yorkshire Coast BID, the Old Parcels Office will present a series of exhibitions over the coming months that will appeal to many.

Surroundings, a contemporary landscape exhibition featuring work from nine Northern-based artists opens on 2 July for two weeks. Followed by Human Machines a fun, family-friendly exhibition of work by Johnny White & Amanda Wray drawing on our common human experiences, runs from 7 – 28 August.

The exhibition space then plays host to a heritage exhibition exploring the growth of Scarborough as a seaside destination brought to life by the coming of the railway in 1845 – 1945. When the Railway Came to Town opens on 8 Sept and runs to 18 Sept.

The season draws to a close with Nuvole, a site-specific installation by London-based sculptor, Paul Bonomini on 1 – 30 October.

The gallery spaces are FREE and open Thu – Sun 11am-4pm
