What is the Filey Land Train?
For many years many businesses, groups and residents of Filey have supported the idea of a Land Train which would link the different parts of the town, help visitors to explore everything Filey has to offer and ensure the town is accessible to everyone.
In 2019 the BID was happy to fund an initial Feasibility study which was successful and the project was then able to be made into a reality.
The Detail
Due to COVID-19 it would not have been appropriate for the service to commence in 2020. However, as the area is beginning to unlock, we are eagerly awaiting an update to find out if this can proceed this year.
If it is able to safely commence, the land train will provide a vital connection from the seafront to the town making it easier for people to see and explore more.
