Producing food takes an huge amount of time and energy and unfortunately the hospitality sector alone wastes a million tonnes of it every year, destined for landfill.

The ‘Guardians of Grub’ campaign from WRAP encourages the Hospitality and Food Service industry to come together to rise up against food waste. Everyone is encouraged to get involved from the sous chef to the CEO, in a united goal to love food and hate waste.

The campaign will run throughout September and businesses can access tools such as their free tracking calculator to automatically calculate how much food waste is costing your business along with savings that could be made.
