Our first funding round has now drawn to a close, and we would like to thank you all for your fantastic ideas for applications so far. We look forward to reviewing these in the New Year and will contact you with our feedback.
Not all funding needs to take the form of a big event; we have welcomed applications from villages merely wanting to improve the appearance of their area to enhance the visitor experience. Examples of such are funding for additional road cleansing, weeding, developing more picturesque picnic spots, painting buildings and installing additional lighting both on a permanent basis and also to add to the festive atmosphere at Christmas time.
Don’t worry if you missed the boat for this round, our next round of funding will begin on 1st January 2020 with a deadline of 31st March 2020.
